We are not a “quick-fix” clinic.
At Mindfull Nutrition, we combine:
Evidence-based nutrition therapy
Functional and root-cause thinking
Mindfulness and intuitive eating principles
Personalized care (not templated meal plans)
Our dietitians take the time to understand:
Your symptoms
Your lifestyle
Your stress patterns
Your long-term goals
We treat the whole person — not just lab numbers.
-
A Registered Dietitian (RD or RDN) is a licensed healthcare professional trained in clinical nutrition therapy.
Unlike nutrition coaches or online influencers, dietitians:
Complete a bachelor’s (and often master’s) degree in nutrition science
Complete supervised clinical training
Pass a national board exam
Maintain ongoing continuing education
Are licensed to provide Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT)
Dietitians are qualified to:
Interpret labs
Work alongside physicians
Manage chronic conditions
Provide evidence-based nutrition counseling
At Mindfull Nutrition, our dietitians combine clinical training with functional and integrative principles to provide comprehensive care.
-
We take a root-cause, whole-person approach to nutrition.
That means we don’t just ask, “What are you eating?”
We ask:What is your stress load like?
How is your sleep?
What do your labs reveal?
What patterns have repeated over time?
What is your relationship with food?
Our care blends:
Evidence-based Medical Nutrition Therapy
Functional nutrition principles
Mindfulness and intuitive eating
Sustainable habit-building
We believe true healing requires both physiology and psychology. Our goal is long-term change — not short-term restriction.
-
Yes, we are in-network with select insurance plans (UHC, BCBS, Curative, Humana and Medicare).
However: We require 7 business days to verify your benefits.
To accurately confirm coverage, we must:
Receive your insurance information in full
Have adequate time for our team to contact your insurance company
Review plan details and coverage specifics
Insurance companies often provide complex or inconsistent information. We work hard to clarify benefits on your behalf, but we cannot guarantee coverage or payment outcomes.
If your information is submitted late, we may need to:
Reschedule your appointment
Or proceed as self-pay until verification is complete
We want you to understand your benefits clearly before your visit.
-
Even if your plan states “covered,” this does not always mean no out-of-pocket cost.
You may still have:
Copays
Deductibles
Coinsurance
Out-of-pocket maximum considerations
We will communicate what we are told — but final payment responsibility remains with the patient.
-
At Mindfull Nutrition, we collect a one-time onboarding fee for all new patients.
Why do we charge this?
This fee covers the administrative and clinical preparation required before your first visit. Our team:
Verifies your insurance benefits (if applicable)
Reviews your intake forms and medical history
Coordinates care as needed
Prepares your individualized plan framework
We believe in delivering thoughtful, prepared care from day one — not rushing through your first session.
What does it cost?
$30 onboarding fee (insurance patients)
$15 onboarding fee (self-pay patients or if you choose to verify your own benefits)
We keep the $15 consistent for all self-pay patients to ensure fairness and transparency.
The onboarding fee is nonrefundable and not covered by insurance.
-
We require 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
If less than 24 hours’ notice is given:
The full cost of the session will be charged.
We understand emergencies happen. However, late cancellations prevent other patients from accessing care and impact provider schedules.
-
We require a secure card on file to:
Hold your appointment
Process copays or balances
Enforce our cancellation policy
Your card is encrypted and securely stored through our HIPAA-compliant system.
We do not charge your card without notification unless it is a late cancellation or missed appointment.
-
Yes.
If you prefer not to use insurance, or if we are out-of-network with your plan, we offer transparent self-pay pricing. Please contact our office for current rates.
-
This depends on your goals and health history. Most patients begin with:
An initial assessment
Follow-up visits every 2–4 weeks
As progress is made, visits are spaced further apart.
-
You don’t need to live locally to work with us.
We serve clients virtually across Texas (and other states where licensure allows). Many of our patients prefer telehealth for flexibility and convenience.
If you’re unsure whether we can see you in your state, contact our team and we’ll clarify your options.
-
Yes. Depending on your needs, we may recommend:
Advanced lab testing
Gut health analysis
Hormone evaluation
Micronutrient testing
Cardiometabolic testing
All recommendations are discussed thoroughly before ordering.
-
Yes — we offer both.
In-Person: We see patients at our Buda location for those who prefer face-to-face care.
Virtual (Telehealth): We offer secure, HIPAA-compliant video appointments. Telehealth allows you to:
Attend from home or work
Avoid commute time
Maintain consistency even with busy schedules
Research shows telehealth nutrition counseling is just as effective as in-person visits.
Many of our patients alternate between in-person and virtual appointments depending on their schedule.
